Waldorf Private Guided Reading Session

Service Description

This class is a one on one private reading tutoring session using fairytales, folktales, and stories appropriate for a Waldorf student's age and grade level. As a teacher and librarian for six years at a Waldorf school, I am able to bring these amazing tales and stories into our reading lessons to work on reading skills such as phonics, fluency, and grammar. I keep children engaged and excited to participate throughout the lesson. I will assess a student's reading level in our first session and work from there. We will read stories, answer comprehension questions, and do grammar activities. This class is perfect for a Waldorf homeschooler or a Waldorf student who would like to supplement (whether struggling or advanced). I will scaffold all work to reach students where they are and encourage them on their reading journey. Evaluation session must be booked first.
