Gifted Readers Private Tutoring

Service Description

These sessions are advanced private reading tutoring sessions based on a student’s reading level. This class is for gifted readers and focuses on vocabulary, expressive reading, and comprehension as well as advanced grammar. English Second Language students are welcome and I have taught Gifted students from almost every continent. I tutor using a variety of online books. My goal is to keep children engaged and excited to participate in their own learning throughout our lessons. We read together, use the glossary for vocabulary words, work on spelling, discuss text-dependent questions, take quizzes, and work on advanced grammar skills. As a school librarian, tutor, and reading coach my first desire is to see my students love literature and love to look deeper. Evaluation session must be booked first.
